If you’re looking for things to do in the city of Cardiff you have come to the right place. My wife and I recently spent a week in Wales to visit family. We spent most of our vacation hunting for things to do around the city, and while at first it seemed like we might struggle for entertainment in the end we found plenty of fun and interesting things to do.
Initially we planned to stay in the hotel for a week of relaxation. Unfortunately, the hotel wasn’t as great as we thought it would be, and the Cardiff escorts we booked weren’t set to arrive until later in the week. So we set out on adventures.
Here’s a few of the best things we got up to, we highly recommend them to anyone visiting Cardiff as a tourist:
We were a little skeptical of Fagans at first as it’s an outdoor museum and it was raining during our visit. However, we took the plunge and did not regret it. There are lots of really intriguing exhibits and it reveals some very interesting facts about the history of Wales. Great place to go, definitely our highest recommendation for absolutely anyone.
Bute Park was a great place for a nice long walk, so great in fact my wife got us lost. I tell you she’s never been able to read a map but she still tries. Aside from getting lost, it was a nice way to kill a few hours. There are some nice views with big open spaces and some bodies of water. One of the many benefits of coming here besides the nice scenery and the lake is that it is only a few minutes walk away from the main shopping area and has quite a nice feeling to it after you’ve been to the nearby restaurants and fancy a late night stroll.
We paid about £15 for admission for a tour around Cardiff Castle. Did you know it was on Doctor Who? I didn’t think it was that interesting personally. It was a nice castle there were a lot of interesting facts about history but ultimately we spent too long there and the only truly captivating part of the castle was the military history and armaments in the basement. The wife loved it though, she wants to bring friends and family next time. Not with me she isn’t. Another thing to add is that the castle is quite small and is more like a mansion these days, with it being located in the city center it’s quite easy to get to as well as walk around and have a coffee or some lunch at the nearby cafes and restaurants.
I was going to end this list at Cardiff castle but the Cathedral really does deserve a place on this list. I still can’t pronounce the name of the place but when we took a drive to see if it was any good the moment we spotted it we knew it was worth a look around. The Llandaff Cathedral is really gorgeous. If both me and my spouse agree on something, you know it must be true! Not only that but the Cathedral was built in the 12th century and is known to be an architectural marvel to current stonemasons and builders, one of the many things I love about going here is the peace and quiet you get from walking around such an atmospheric building as well as the exterior and is always a great place to bring your Cardiff escort.
